The next payday loan that my boyfriend and I are going to take out is going to be for a new living room set. We moved from Maine to Florida and brought nothing with us. We have a couch right now that we got at a salvation store but apparently my dog thinks it is too small. My dog is 60 pounds and if I am laying on the couch, he will climb on top of me and squeeze himself into where he wants to be. So we want to get a loveseat so even if WE are sitting on the couch, he still has a couch of his own :-).
Shocked could not describe my feelings when I got that phone call. I had actually won something? It had been a rough year and a half and we never thought we'd catch a break. Just an extra $400 dollars to some seemed small. However, to Rich & I it was a lot. My first thought was that I can finally book the flights to go down to Florida. My grandparents have been very ill and we didnt know if we could make it down there. In fact it didnt seem much of a reality until today. It is amazing how just when you think you cannot handle anything else, God gives you a blessing like this. We have had many up and downs. I realize we are not the only ones and that is why I am so surprised. I was sure there was someone more deserving who had a better use for it. I won't do what I normally do, which is overthink things. I plan on just calling my husband and sharing the good news. Then I will book the flights and call my grandparents. What an amazing day!
