For me my best friend means a lot to me and so anything that I buy him would be very special and have a lot of thought put behind it. My friend is going through a hard time with his financial situation and work life right now. He adores pets and has the desire to have his fish tank have some colorful fish in it. The pets that he has helps him get through his hard times and I would take him on a fish buying trip and buy some special fish that he would not be able to purchase for himself at this time. This would all be in an effort to help ease his pain that he is going through with his family members pushing him out of their life as he moved farther away from home than anyone in the family to experience life. I would also buy him a couple of new shirts to wear as he has a few that he wears all the time.
Friendships are important and no amount of money should be needed to buy a friend, however when you have a friend in need or going through a hard time it is great to be able to help them out, because sometime they will be there for you when you need them to help you out! As the song says "That's What Friends Are For! In Good Times and Bad Times!"
If had $300, I couldn’t specify one thing to buy for my best friend. My best friend, Sharon King is raising her 2 year old grand-daughter, Sheneyah while trying to work part-time while ill as a caregiver herself. It will be a while before all of her benefits are put into place so she could use pretty much a little bit of everything. Most importantly, the money would be used for her utility, gas and electric bills are extremely high due to the weather. Anything left over after that would be used in the grocery store.
If I had an extra $300 I would send my best friend of 28 years and her husband to a fancy hotel and a romantic dinner for a night, while I stay at home with their 2 year old daughter. The reason I would do this for her and her husband is because she suffered from Post Traumatic Syndrome and unfortunately has not fully recovered from it. She so wanted to be a stay at home mother, but the bills were just piling up and she had to go back to teaching and the stress of that made things worse for her. She is the sweetest most giving person I have ever known. She always puts her "issues" aside to be there for her family and friends. Her husband has been extremely supportive and very hard working and they both deserve a child free romantic evening to unwind and breathe a little. I would be elated to be able to do that for them!
What I would buy for my best friend if I had $300....
My best friend is the mother of 3 small children (8, 4, 6 months)she is a stay at home mom. She never gets out without the kids. What I would do for her is to give her a day of relaxing spa treatment, with a manicure pedicure, facial, massage for her to have a day of relaxation. I would take care of or get someone to take care of the children for as long as she should need for the treatment she will receive at that spa.

She has been my bestesfriend since I can remember we have been through thick and thin for a very long time. She does not have very much support from her family and we are like sister's.. She recently had a birthday and moved out on her own with her baby boy and is having a hard time getting back and forth to work. Needs more money to gather up for a car meanwhile she has to walk or ask for a car.. I don't know if I would get her a bus pass or just give her the money to get her a car.. Also, I would like to pamper her in having a day at a spa relaxing and forgeting about all those who judge her and say she is not worth the time.. She is my sister and I love her to death. I have no other way of helping her because I myself have three kids.. So these are some of the ideas I have to help my bestfreind..
