I have a friend, an older woman, who has nothing. I have helped her with her bills and rent. The government doesn't help out seniors too well. I would pay her rent again, her rent is $475.00 a month. If it weren't for me, she would be lying in a ditch in the cold. I haven't much money but I just cannot sit by and watch this woman not live. If I could, I would take all homeless into my home, they are mostly the older folks that have nothing. Thank you, National Payday

"What are you getting for Greg for his birthday?" Natalie asked me as we were passing Brookstone. That question hit me like a ton of bricks. Greg's birthday was only a few days away. Greg was the best friend I have ever had. You see, we had a wet link going on. We were so in-tune with each other we could read each other's thoughts. For Christmas we got each other digital cameras. Imagine our surprise when we opened each other's gift. We just looke at each other and laughed. This birthday was going to be special. You see for the last 6 months Greg has been buried with stress. Two of his 4 daughters had moved from Copperas Cove to live with him. They really had no concept of following rules. Within a month they had been pick up for shoplifting. Not only did he have deliquent daughters to deal with, he had a boss who kept taking back part of his hard earned money. Because of this, he had fallen behind on all his bills. It was a struggle for him to figure out which bills could slide and which ones needed to be paid now. As I was sufing the net on day, I came across a weekend at a bed and breakfast that looked very intriguing. It was a How to Host a Murder weekend in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. What would be better than a weekend away at a role-play weekend. Besides, It was one of Greg's favorite games. If I had an extra $300 I would pay for a weekend away from life. If I had $300 I would give it to my friend who is having serious financial problems. She works two jobs and is still struggling to pay her mortgage. She has received foreclosure letters and is not sure how long she can hold on to the house. Her car was repossessed and thankfully her mother was able to lend her the money to get the car back. Now she is struggling to pay her mother. She works so hard, even when she is sick like today, and I hate to see her continually struggle. $300 would not get her out of debt but it would definitely help her situation.

I don't have to think much about this. My father is in the advanced stages of Parkinson's desease, and my mother has been the primary caretaker for him as we cannot afford to hire in-home nursing. She has been mentally drained by the entire experience and I would love to be able to do something for her to get her out of the house. We live in the San Francisco bay area, and my mother loves San Francisco. I would love to pay for a nights stay in San Francisco for her to give her a day away from the commitment to my father's illness. She is a dedicated wife and mother, and i'd love to give her this gift.

I would give that money to my best friend toward a purchase of her wedding dress. Seeing that today everyone is strapped for cash, its always hard sometimes to contribute something to a most rememberable event.
