My best friend is Travis and we have known each other for almost 12 years. A few years ago Travis hit a “rough patch” in his life and after going thru a divorce, losing his job and most of his friends, he is now starting to get back on his feet. He has a new job, a nice little apartment and he gets to see his 13-year old son Brandon most weekends. Brandon lives with his mother about 30 miles away and he can’t wait for the weekends with his dad.
Brandon’s birthday is this month and his dad feels very bad because he can’t afford to buy Brandon a birthday present. For now, all his paychecks must go towards paying for rent, utilities, food and medical bills until he is goes from a part-time to a full-time position at work and there is nothing extra for a movie or pizza on the weekends or birthday presents for his son.
If I had an extra $300, I would help my friend buy his son a great birthday present and throw him a big birthday party. I know Brandon and his dad feel lucky to just be able to spend time together, but I would like to help make Brandon’s birthday extra special for him and his dad because they deserve an extra great weekend together that they will always remember.
My best friend lives in Connecticut and I live in Utah. We remain best friends even though there is a great distance between us because we have a very strong bond. We only get to see each other about once a year because of our schedules and because of the cost. Her mom passed away recently, and I couldn't be there for her, so if I had $300 extra, I would buy a plane ticket for her to come out to Utah and visit me. We could spend some time catching up and doing what we do best, go out to eat! Our time together is so precious and so limited that any opportunity to have more of it would be the greatest thing in the world! Thank you very much for the opportunity to do this!
My best friend, Marsha, recently moved 100 miles away, to Richmond, VA for a better job opportunity. Unfortunately, after having been there for less than a month, the new job did not work out and she found herself in a new town without any means of support or employement. For the past few months she has really struggled, cutting out all non-essential expenses and working temp jobs to get by. There were times when she thought about giving up, but she didn't. After lots of interviews, she's finally gotten a great job, and things are looking up for her. If I had an extra $300, I would pay for a day in a spa for her. After all the stress of the last few months, she really could use some pampering and relaxation, and I think she deserves a day to herself to celebrate that fact that she didn't give up in the worst of times!
I have enjoyed using the x-tra cash because it helps me catch up on my bills. Payday is an easy process to go through. I would recommend anyone to use it or atleast give it a try. They're willing to help you in anyway simplying by talking to one of their customer service representatives. These people are nice and easy going. I've never had any trouble with these guys. I encourage you to try it atleast once. Once again, I am very pleased to use Payday.
I would have to say my best friend is my Mom. She is always doing wonderful things for me. My Dad is now retired and my Mom works as a cook in a cafeteria. Money is tight for them. She is always helping me out in times of need even when she doesn't have the funds. My mother has a huge heart! I would like to take her out for the day and let her spend the money anyway she wants. It would be nice to repay her and let her know that I think she is a SUPER Mom. I tell her I love her all the time, but I would like to give her something to let her know she is appreciated. Mom's Rock!
