In early October I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully it was detected early and after 2 surgeries in November the cancer was removed. At that time I was able to be off with on paid sick leave. However, my chemo and radiation treatments are about to begin and I won't have enough leave to be paid. I would like to purchase my 3 wonderful children their heart's desires. If I had the $400.00 I could purchase them something from their Wish Lists. I'd also like to give to friends and co-workers who have been so supportive during this time. I've eyeballed some great breast cancer awareness items on eBay. I'd like to package them and give them as thank you and reminders of the importance to stay abreast of their health. Because Breast Cancer Awaremness Month has passed, many of the items on eBay are useful, purposeful items at giveaway prices.
Our Hot Water Heater went out this Holiday Season. The replacement was about $200 from Lowes.But they wanted $275 to install it! We called around and finally settled on a handyman to do the job instead for $150. We saved money by taking the time to compare prices. And we much rather see a local family getting a job from us than a big name like Lowes. Luckily we were able to get a payday loan from National Payday to help out with the extra expenses.
This year no one can afford to travel to be together for the holidays my kids, dad and grandkids are scattered through four different states. My son and I live in Ca., he is a stage actor, we are both into music and dance. This year we plan to make a DVD with old family photos and we are going to record ourselves singing christmas songs over them. I will also include mini stockings with a few dollars cash for each of the grandkids. While this will be less than I normally spend, my payday loan with the new option of "paying it down" instead of all at once has allowed me to not only buy presents this year, but get them out early.

I remembered clearly one special Christmas when I was about 10 years old. My whole family was sleepimg when the doorbell rung. It was a snowly Christmas. It was the cold snow just be like the feeling of Christmas. It was my Grandpa and Grandma waiting anxiously for their grandchildren to opened their gift from them. They stayed the whole time when you were opening gifts from Santa. I got a beautiful green plaid dress from my grandparents and I worn the dress the following year to have my school picture taken with the green plaid dress. I was so proud of the gift given to me from my special grandparents.
Well, this year has been a real tuff year for my mother. She lost her job, in and out of the hospital and has had a real hard time finding a new job. For the year I have been helping her make her mortage payments on her home. Over the last 3 months we were running out of time before foreclosure came. My last pay period we had to pay off the remaining balence of her past due payments or they were going to start the foreclosure process. Thats when I turned to my old friend National. With the loan I recieved from National it was able to help cover the balence on my moms past due balence and she is now out of the foreclosure process. So Thanks National for the keeping my mom in her house!
