The most important/best gift I bought this Christmas season with my payday loan was a plane ticket to Tennessee for my best friend, Amber. This past July her cousin, which is a year younger than us, was killed in a car accident by a drunk driver. The worst part about it is that she was graduating from college this December, and had a very prospective life ahead of her. We were all very close, but of course since they were like sisters, she's really going through a tough time. The University of Tennessee is presenting her mother with her cousin's Bachelor's degree next week, which just so happens to be the same weekend of my best friend's birthday. Also because it is about a week before Christmas as well, she didn't have the extra money to buy the plane ticket in order to attend the graduation ceremony in support; so I did. My best friend, Amber, is an extremely loving and giving person, and would give her last if I needed it. She has always been there for me, especially during the hard times including my mother's death and my divorce. I didn't feel obligated, but I definitely felt that it was extremely important to do this for her and show my appreciation for everything that she and her family have done for me. As stated, I have been going through some tough times as well and couldn't afford to buy the plane ticket myself. I wanted to buy it early enough so it wouldn't be even more expensive, and because of my pay schedule, it was going to be very hard for me to come up with all the money. I thought that this payday loan was an excellent way and opportunity to do something special for someone I loved who definitely deserved it.
