Money is the driving force in all of us to go to work and succeed in life. You need money to pay bills and to stay fed. Everyone looks forward to their payday because they can finally get ahead and pay some bills. There are many reasons payday is such a great day for the working class and there are probably too many to list. You can use the money you get on payday to do whatever it is you have been waiting to do.

Many people go grocery shopping on payday and fill their refrigerator until the next time they will be paid. They stock up on goods they will need for the month such as toilet paper, dish detergent, laundry soap, etc. The big expenses such as clothes, bills, and other expenses like car maintenance are also put off until payday.

Payday is stressful for employers because they get the task of delegating funds to their entire staff on one day. They need to calculate hours or count days the employers worked to make one payment. The checks must be printed and signed and the upkeep of these things can become a hassle. You must stay current on all employees and even keep track of their tax information.

Despite the extra workload payday gives to employers the payday for most Americans is the best day of the month. Some wait to go out and celebrate for payday. They can finally take their kids out or even watch a movie at the theater.
