You get up, brush your teeth, maybe grab something to eat, and then begin your half-awake advance towards work. The day goes on, you do your job, earn your cash, head home and call it a night. Once in a while, you might stop off at the video store and get a movie or go out to eat. You work hard, and the last thing you should do to yourself after spending so much time and effort earning your cash, is to anesthetize yourself with someone else's bland excuse for entertainment. You owe it to yourself to advance your own self-fulfilling goals. Try spending your next night in making some kind of advance towards a personal goal, even if it is just this once. You don't have to achieve much of anything. War and Peace wasn't written in a day. Take it slow at first, work toward the advance of your goal once or twice a week, on a night or nights when you would normally watch nothing in particular on television. So pick up that book on learning a new language, visit that website on traveling the globe, sign up for that night class, start investing your cash on your future for once, and begin your advance towards those things you've always wanted to do.
