Manage Your Money
There are several easy things that you can do to help manage your money. One simple way to manage your money is to write down every cent that you spend, whether it is with cash, your bank card, or even if it is with a credit card. Keeping a log of the purchases that make will force you to see what you spend your money on, and how much you spend on each item. Keeping some cash in your wallet can be helpful, especially if you find yourself somewhere that does not accept plastic, but when you pay for things with cash, you do not have a record of what you purchased and how much it cost.
When using a bank card or a credit card, you have record of every purchase that make. Plus, when making purchases with a credit or debit card, you pay for your purchases with the exact amount. Paying with cash forces you to have change, change that can be lost or simply put into a jar and never seen or heard from again. Constructing a budget and sticking to it, can also help you to manage your money. Write down every bill and recurring expense that you have and it will allow you to see exactly how much money you have left over every month to save or spend on nonessential items.
