Free Payday Loans Come with Responsibility
Many payday lenders offer free payday loans for the first time borrowing experience. They are free of the initial borrowing fee, which is usually a percentage of the loan. For the first time borrowing, many payday lenders offer free payday loans and waive the first fee to show people the ease of getting the loan and how that loan can help them when they need money the most. The responsibility to pay back the free payday loan, however, is not waived. If the consumer fails to pay back the loan on the due date than the fee may be re-applied to the loan. In addition, if the consumer defaults on the loan all together, the payday lender can report it to the credit agencies and make attempts to collect the debt with additional interest.
A free payday loan is a great way to get additional cash without the high interest rate normally associated with payday loans. However, they are not free money. The debt must still be repaid.
Some companies are now offering free payday loans to consumers who are not even first-timers anymore. If you refer a friend to a payday lender and they take advantage of a free payday loan for first-timers then you can get credited one free payday loan as well. This may be one way to store some credits up for times when you yourself might need a payday loan but not wish to have to pay the high interest rate.
