Payday Lending
For people who have no credit history, emergencies require cold hard cash. When your car breaks down or your heater chokes, a paycheck advance can mean the difference between getting to work and safely heating your home. In today's modern world, emergencies strike when you least expect it, and with little savings and no credit history a paycheck advance can save a job or even provide a safe environment. Many people don't know that they can still get an advance on their paycheck through payday loan companies even without a credit history. As long as a borrower has a job and can repay the amount borrowed, a paycheck advance can be taken out when an emergency happens.Whereas one might be tempted to ask for a paycheck advance from one's employer, in today's market the less an employer has reason to question your finances the better. Some employers, particularly in the restaurant and retail business, don't want to know that their employees might be short of money. It makes them seem less trustworthy. If one goes to a payday lender instead for a paycheck advance, the transaction is confidential and usually can be approved in less than a day.
Some states feel payday loans should be banned because of high interest rates; however these same states do not put in any other comparable service to meet the emergency needs of low-income borrowers. Payday loans serve a vital service to a community that often lives paycheck to paycheck in a time when one's financial status can mean keeping or losing a much-needed job.
